Luisa Baeta is a graphic designer living in London and specializing in print. She has a very solid design education, including a BA in one of Brazil's top design courses, a graduate diploma in Design for Visual Communication at the London College of Communication (part of University of the Arts), and several short courses in subjects ranging from typography to animation. She has professional experience as a freelancer and an intern in companies in Rio de Janeiro and London, where she worked on projects for book design, concert flyers, CD packaging, logos and identity, websites, magazines, catalogues and many more.
She is currently starting a Masters degree in Typeface Design at the University of Reading, while developing projects such as designing and co-writing the book "Curvo ou Reto: olhar secreto", published by Editora Global in Brazil in 2010 with great praise by the press, and collaborating with HOUSE Collective on their "Pop-Up House" project, taking place at the London Design Festival in 2010 and featured on Design Week and Time Out.
She doesn't always talk about herself in the third person like this. She is actually quite nice and friendly, so feel free to get in touch if you are interested in seeing her CV, getting a pdf with more work samples, or just want to talk about anything at all, really.
